Smith Forefront 2 Mountain Bike Helmet

On long, sweaty singletrack days, the Forefront 2 is our go-to mountain bike helmet for riders who want serious protection without cooking their head. Koroyd tubes molded into the EPS foam absorb impact without blocking airflow, while the dial-adjust fit stays put on rough descents.

• Koroyd energy-absorbing tubes sit in the vents, adding impact protection without choking off airflow
• Aerocore construction molds Koroyd into the EPS foam for a lighter, lower-profile shell with big vents
• Fit dial lets you lock in a secure hold and re-tighten fast, even when you're soaked in sweat on a rough trail
• Mountain-specific coverage and visor for roots, rocks, and tight, wooded Southeast singletrack
• Ventilation channels keep air moving through the helmet, which matters in Southern summer heat and humidity
