Women's Katabatic Low Hiking Shoe

Built for women who move fast on trail — day hikes, fastpacking, or anywhere you need to cover ground without slowing down — the Katabatic Low is our top pick for speed-oriented hiking. A dual-density EVA midsole paired with an ESS rock plate delivers responsive cushioning and underfoot protection on rocky Southern terrain. The O FIT insole and Trail Tread rubber outsole keep your foot locked in and grippy whether the dirt is dry or soaked.

• ESS Trail Armoring rock plate shields against stone bruising on rooty, rocky trails without adding bulk or stiffness
• Abrasion-resistant breathable mesh upper with reinforced TPU overlays sheds trail debris and holds up to brush, roots, and scrambling
• Dual-density EVA midsole (25mm heel / 17mm forefoot, 8mm drop) delivers snappy energy return without feeling stiff underfoot
• O FIT Insole is molded to match the exact shape of the Katabatic last — more natural contact, less dead space, better all-day comfort
• At 10.9 oz per shoe, it hits the sweet spot between a true trail runner and a supportive hiker — fast enough for big miles, protective enough for rough ground
