Fits true to size with Altra's signature FootShape last — wide rounded toe box that allows natural toe splay. Midfoot is roomy; heel hold is good thanks to the structured heel counter. Available in Standard (D) only for men's. The roomy fit is uncommon for serious trail shoes.
How it feels
Cushion is high; EGO MAX foam reads moderately soft and protective for ultra distance. Zero drop produces a flat, foot-natural feel. Vibram Megagrip with Litebase grips wet rocks, mud, and technical terrain. Forefoot is moderately flexible.
