Spring buying hit the floor last week. Here's what landed on the women's wall and what I'd put in your hands first if you walked in today.
Free Fly Bamboo Racerback Tank
If you run in humidity, this is my first recommendation. Bamboo viscose feels cool on the skin in a way synthetics don't. The racerback cut stays off your shoulders under a vest. I've been testing mine for three weeks and it doesn't hold odor like synthetic tanks do.
Fit runs true to size. If you're between, take the smaller.
Mountain Hardwear Yuma Pant
Light hiking and everyday pant. The inseam options make a real difference, so take 30 seconds to check your true inseam before you pick. Fabric is stretchier this season, and the drawstring waist handles a pack belt better than the Ferrosi I used to recommend.
Vuori Halo Essential Hoodie
Not technical, but it's the top that customers keep coming back for. Brushed inside, clean silhouette, doesn't pill in the wash. I stock it for post-run recovery and for Sunday brunch. Both count.
Outdoor Research Echo Tee
The one I wear running. UPF 15, featherweight, and the fit is a true women's cut instead of a shrunk men's. Works in Memphis heat, works under a shell when the weather turns.
What we didn't bring back
A couple of older Patagonia pieces that weren't moving. If you were partial to the older Cap Cool Daily, we still have a few. After that, the Capilene Cool Trail has the same feel with a better cut.
Come try them on
Fit makes more difference than fabric with women's apparel. If something feels off on the rack, it won't feel better at home. Book a fit session and I'll set a handful aside.
