Vario Summer Trekking Pole Basket

When trails dry out and snow baskets just add drag, the Vario Summer Basket is our go-to replacement for hikers running Komperdell poles. Its compact size keeps the pole tip from sinking into soft dirt and sand while staying out of the way in roots and rocks. Swap it on when your original wears or goes missing.

• Small-diameter summer basket that stops pole tips from sinking into soft dirt, sand, and mud
• Compact profile resists snagging on roots, rocks, and brush on tight Southeastern singletrack
• Lightweight design adds almost nothing to your pole swing over a long day
• Built as a replacement for Komperdell poles that use the Vario basket system, so check your pole model before ordering
• Good for lost or worn baskets, or for swapping out a winter basket once the snow is gone
