Copper Spur UL3 Backpacking Tent

For groups and families carrying their shelter deep into the backcountry, the Copper Spur UL3 is our top pick when every ounce matters. Its hubbed DAC pole system builds near-vertical walls that give three people genuine headroom and real floor space — not just theoretical capacity. Two doors and two vestibules mean no one's climbing over anyone at dawn.

• Ultralight double-wall construction keeps three-person livability and pack weight from being a trade-off — you get both
• Hubbed DAC pole architecture pushes walls outward and upward, creating usable headroom and floor space across the full footprint
• Two independent doors with two vestibules let each occupant enter, exit, and access gear without waking the tent
• Full-coverage rain fly with taped seams and quality zippers handles sustained Southern downpours and high-humidity condensation nights equally well
• Available in Tangelo and Lichen Green — visible enough for group camp ID, low-profile enough for Leave No Trace environments
