Having searched for shoes that fit my wide feet forever, I almost cried when I first tried these on. No more sore feet after a long days work. I love Altras.
These shoes run small so you need to go one size larger than you measure, especially if you have wide feet. If your first three toes are the same length like mine, then these shoes do not have quite the toe splay they claim, but at least they don't pinch your toes. They are quite comfortable. Almost as comfortable as Keen Rialto's (only the Rialto's)
When I was out on the JMT this summer, I noticed that a LOT of the PCT thru-hikers were wearing these shoes. I've been trying to hunt for a pair of the 3.5's in my size before the new LP 4.0's come out, and finally found them on this site:) So far, I really like them. They were to to my size, breathable, and better yet...DON'T have the new heel 'flapper' like the new 4.0's have to catch on floor mats, clothes etc. I'm glad I got the old model!
After many years of running off road in Montrail shoes, I finally made the switch to Altra. The King MT 1.5 has been as advertised. I have been running for almost 35 years and I have never had a shoe fit as good as this one. It has a very snug fitting heel box and around the ankle fits like a glove. I read reviews of them fitting small but I did not find this to be the case with mine. I typically wear a 10 with about 1/4 - 3/8 inch to spare at the toe. These were very comparable to any of my other shoes. The wide toe box was the most impressive feature. I didn’t realize how constricted my toes had been all of these years. I am curious to see how they hold up some rocky terrain. So far, they have done well on mostly dirt and rooted trails. 2 thumbs up, Altra!!!!
I got these to play disc golf, they are super comfortable, the only issue I have is one that is solely caused by use not intended for the shoe, I actually want to contact the company to see if they can add something to the toe. I will buy from this company again for sure
I have wide feet. Regular shoes make them hurt. Altras fit me perfectly, no more cramped toes. The cushioning is something to experience.
I have another pair of the Lone Peak 3.5’s and love them! I wanted to stock up on them BEFORE the switch to the new models with the horrorably designed ‘flapper’ thing they slapped on the rear of the new models!! I tried a pair of the new ones on and can see that catching on anything and everything, The salesman in the store said to just trim it off?! Lol. Anyways...The 3.5’s are a great model! Buy them before they’re gone and you’re stuck with the new 4.0’s!
This is the coziest hoodie I have ever put on. A few things though, it’s quite warm so you wouldn’t want to layer too much over it. Also, the inside is lined in super soft, cozy fleece that feels like silk. I think it also runs a bit small. For reference, I am 5’9, 137 lbs and normally wear a small. In this top, I wanted it to look more relaxed and the length to hit me mid butt so I got the large in the cream color and a medium in the purple color. They both fit great, and there’s not a lot of difference between the 2 sizes, but I do like how the large fits a bit better. It’s not sack like nor too baggy, but perfect. The arm length on both is also great for my long arms.
this is my second pair of this model and i love them. i have big wide duck feet and i never chafe or blister my sausage like toes. these are the best trail shoes i have found. they are well built and take abuse for a long time. quick delivery of item.
Amazing sneaker was super shocked how good they were. I use them too run a half marathon did i best time yet. Felt like i was running on air.
These have so much cushion and are perfect for tired, post-race feet! I love slipping them on after I’ve been on my feet for hours.
Love these flip flops !! My foot pain is nearly
nonexistent when I’m wearing them!!
Thanks for getting my shoes to me on time, and at a bargain. Keep up the good work you have made it into my ordering rotation.
This is my first Altra shoe and I am impressed with the quality, cushioning, fit and feel. I use trail runners for long distance backpacking and wanted a shoe with a wider toe box and a little more cushioning than previous brands I’ve used. This shoe does that nicely and the fit and feel are prefect for my old trail feet. I love them. Grivet was easy to order from and quick to ship. I appreciate their rewards program that’s very useful.
