Fine customer service and support. Will be back .
The Altras live up to their roomy toe box. My toes have never felt better inside a pair of shoes. And as other reviews suggested go with one size larger than normal. Cushioning is good and they are even lighter than my Merrels, which I am retireing now.
This shoe has good ankle support, it doesn't have as much toe room as my Altra Torrin tho. It's a good looking shoe, that has plenty of cushion. The tan color I got is really nice, get alot of compliments on it. Can't go wrong getting shoes from Grivet Outdoors , great store.
Very comfortable however ankle support is not great, toe cap is already peeling.used only three times. They are not very rugged at all.
I recently ordered a pair of Altra Lone Peaks from this company. I ordered the tan pair to wear at work. They were exactly what I ordered. I have a wide foot, but the Altras fit very well. They arrived sooner than expected and were priced lower than many other sites. I will definitely order from this company aft.
Very satisfied with this hiking boot. Wish I had them when I served in military.
I got these as work boots as I have been wearing altra for a few years now. The bottom is firmer and better for being on ladders and tracking through mud, dirt and rocky terrain. I'm happy with them so far, but we will have to see how long they last.
Having searched for shoes that fit my wide feet forever, I almost cried when I first tried these on. No more sore feet after a long days work. I love Altras.
When I was out on the JMT this summer, I noticed that a LOT of the PCT thru-hikers were wearing these shoes. I've been trying to hunt for a pair of the 3.5's in my size before the new LP 4.0's come out, and finally found them on this site:) So far, I really like them. They were to to my size, breathable, and better yet...DON'T have the new heel 'flapper' like the new 4.0's have to catch on floor mats, clothes etc. I'm glad I got the old model!
